COMMERCIAL LINES ACCOUNT MANAGER

Summary

Responsible for the day-to-day servicing of commercial lines clients including new and renewal business processing and maintenance of exceptional Customer relations with the client, insurance companies and other third parties

Principle Responsibilities
  • Manage and retain existing book of business
  • Review and process renewals, new policies, and policy changes
  • Handle questions, research and resolve problems
  • May be required to make recommendations for coverage additions or changes
  • Interact with carriers and internal/external customers to ensure delivery of exceptional Customer service and adherence to policies and procedures
  • Manage the process of, and prepare renewal submissions for marketing including application(s), necessary exhibit(s), narrative(s), collection of loss runs and answers to underwriting questions
  • Submit applications to eligible and appropriate carriers and follow up to ensure timely receipt of quotations and policies
  • Assist in managing receivables
  • Perform other duties as may be required or assigned
Requirements
  • Valid Property and Casualty license
  • Two (2) or more years of commercial multi-line property and casualty experience
  • Insurance designation preferred
  • Exceptional organization and customer service skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Must be an enthusiastic self starter, flexible, be able to multi-task and delegate or handle responsibilities with minimal supervision
  • PC proficiency required. MS Office (Word and Excel) preferred

 

COMMERCIAL LINES ASSISTANT ACCOUNT MANAGER

Summary

Responsible for the day-to-day servicing of commercial lines clients including new and renewal business processing and maintenance of exceptional Customer relations with the client, insurance companies and other third parties

Principle Responsibilities
  • Review and process renewals, new policies, and policy changes
  • Handle questions, research and resolve problems
  • Process certificates of insurance, evidence of property as necessary. Request corresponding endorsements
  • Interact with carriers and internal/external customers to ensure delivery of exceptional Customer service and adherence to policies and procedures
  • Follow up on receipt of loss runs, loss control recommendations, driver information, etc
  • Perform other duties as may be required or assigned
Requirements
  • Two (2) or more years of commercial multi-line property and casualty experience is preferred but not necessary
  • Exceptional organization and customer service skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
