Employee Benefits Case Study

This nonprofit organization had over 500 past and retired employees covered in 30+ states.  The organization's broker search sought out a firm that could provide creative solutions to their organization's complex plan and decentralized employee base.  

The prior program offered multiple plan design options but failed to build equity by saving for future healthcare expenses. After an acceptable level of deductible risk was optimized, we helped the organization supplement the out-of-pocket exposure by the use of HSA's, HRA's and FSA's.  A self-insured supplement plan secondary to Medicare was offered to retirees which included a fully insured Part D prescription solution.

The final solution lowered the organization's costs by over $200,000 annually and put them on a long-term path to effectively manage costs.
